Refund Policy

1. Refunds Due to Cancellation or Amendment by the Company

ZAYAN Travel & Tourism reserves the right to determine the amount of refund payable in cases where a tour is canceled or amended due to reasons beyond our control, such as natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances (Force Majeure). The refund amount will be calculated based on factors like the number of participants and the cancellation policies of suppliers, including hotels and transport providers. The decision on the refund amount by ZAYAN Travel & Tourism is final and binding on all tour participants.

2. Refunds for Altered or Cancelled Tours

If ZAYAN Travel & Tourism alters, amends, or cancels any tour as advertised on our website, and a participant opts to continue with the modified tour or chooses an alternate tour offered by us, no refund will be provided for the differences. The company will not be responsible for any compensation, additional expenses, or consequential losses suffered by the participant due to such changes.

3. Refund Currency and Processing Time

Refunds, if applicable, will be made in Indian Rupees, even if the payment was made in foreign currency, based on the prevailing exchange rate on the date of refund. Refunds will be processed within 45 days, or 60 days if tickets have already been issued, and will be paid directly to the tour participant by cheque.

4. No Refund for Unused Services

No refunds will be provided if a participant fails to join the tour at the start, joins late, or leaves before the tour ends. Additionally, no refunds will be granted for unused services such as meals, accommodations, excursions, or lost or destroyed travel documents.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

If a participant or their family member has to discontinue the tour for any reason, such as illness, death, or loss of passport, no claim will be entertained for the refund of unused services. Similarly, there will be no refund for any services not utilized due to personal reasons.

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by Participant

Cancellations by tour participants will attract charges as specified by ZAYAN Travel & Tourism. The cancellation policy is necessary to cover the commitments made to service providers who are booked in advance. Participants must submit a written cancellation request, stating the reason for cancellation, using the same email ID that was used to confirm the booking. No requests will be entertained from an unregistered email ID.

2. Third-Party Services Cancellation

For cancellations of third-party tours or services booked through ZAYAN Travel & Tourism, the terms and conditions of the other tour operator will apply, including their payment schedule, cancellation, and refund policies. These will be in addition to ZAYAN Travel & Tourism’s cancellation rules.

3. Cancellation Notice Period

The period for calculating notice of cancellation begins when the cancellation email is received during office working hours. Cancellations received outside of working hours will be considered received on the next working day.
